Whiteriver Trip

Even though we went and did this in October 2009, I wanted to post this because we had a lot of fun and got some amazing pics! Enjoy!
So, after a few guilt trips given to me by my brother Jared, we finally went to visit him and Morgan in Whiteriver, AZ. I am so glad that we went because we had a great time with them! On our first day there they took us on an awesome hike that was up in the mountains some where and because it was fall the leaves were starting to turn color. I love fall! As you look through the pictures you will see why!

Here is Dallin. It was freezing while we were hiking and I didn't bring a hat for the little guy, so we made due with a jacket. He was soooo tired, but seemed to enjoy himself!
Here is a picture of Morgan and I with a bunch of Aspens behind us. This was such a beautiful hike!
The two men and their cub children!
Here is the family pic--well everyone is in the family except Rosco. He just likes to be in all the pictures.
So freakin beautiful!!! You really could not believe how beautiful it was up there on this hike! Thanks, Morgan and Jared!

Love this picture of Jared and Morgan that we snapped---AHHHH look at the love birds!

This is Easton and Dallin after hiking a good part of the day and eating dinner.

This is Easton and Dallin after just as we arrived home! They were so tired and sooooo cute!

Amanda's Birthday Hike

Ok, so I haven't posted anything for a really long time...since last September! If it wasn't for my sister Angela laying on the guilt trip, I probably wouldn't be doing it. Of course I have really wanted to post some things that have happened. So, even though my birthday was last September, I still wanted to post what we did. I decided I wanted to go on a hike. Brett's family was down for it and we did the Blackett's Ridge Trail on Mt. Lemmon here in Tucson. It was great. We switched off carrying little Dallin. Natalie and Jeff brought their newborn at the time--Ethan--who was probably a little over 1 month old. The kids did great and afterwards we had a cookout and it all turned out to be a great day! Thanks for the great birthday everyone!!

Daddy and Dallin as we start out for our little adventure.

Michelle, Natalie, little Ethan, and Mom as we go down the trail.

We kept switching off Dallin cause even though he is little it was hard to carry him!

Grandpa cooking the chicken!! Yummy!

Going along the trail....lalalalalalalala....

Dallin and His Sand bucket

So, this video is from last October. I have been wanting to post it, because it is so stinkin cute! I looked out the window and saw Dallin playing with his sand bucket running around with it on his head. I had to get my camera and get this because it is priceless! I love it and I love that he says " I love ju" at the end!

This is a picture I had to get of me and Dallin! He is such a sweetie pie--I love how the bucket is squishing his nose!

Happy Birthday Brett!!

Yesturday we celebrated Brett's 32nd Birthday....I can't believe how fast time goes by. It was Labor Day so he was lucky enough to have work off. It was a great day. We relaxed in the morning and then went over to Brett's parents for steak and then cake and ice cream. They were actually able to fit 32 candles on the cake and my oh my how that cake glowed! Dallin had fun singing Happy Birthday and helping Daddy blow out the candles. (from where I was I could see Dallin blow out a little more than air on the cake--haha). Jeff & Natalie brought their new bundle of joy, Ethan, over so I got to cuddle my new little nephew. It was a low key day, but special because we got to spend the day with the family. Thanks Ann Marie for taking the pic!

The Tucson Zoo

On Thursday, August 20th, the zoo had free admission for everyone in celebration of Tucson's birthday. My friend, Jen, and I took advantage of this and took our little boys to the zoo. We had a fun time visiting all the animals, but it was HOT! Needless to say we were tired after running around the zoo.

At the zoo they have this little building with all these cool things for children to look at. Some of the volunteers had a big lizard and a couple of snakes for the children to pet. So, Dallin and Ryan got to pet the snakes!

Here we are at the giraffe's home. We could have probably stayed here all day and the boy's would have been totally fine with it! I tried to get them to look at the camera, but this was the best I could do!

The Beginning....

So, I finally have gotten my blog started after a couple years of having it. I am just trying to figure out how to use it now. So, much has happened in my life...where to begin? The big thing in our family right now is going to sports games. Since I have been married to Brett, he has gotten me interested in going to sports games. Dallin loves to say "Baseball Game". He carries a baseball around the house a lot and it is really cute. As you all may know football is now starting. On August 22nd we went to the U of A football scrimmage. Dallin had a blast, but was trying to figure out why we were watching football instead of baseball. Here are pictures of us at the football scrimmage.
